Debbie Dearen Richmond

Debbie D. Richmond started her artistic journey out of love and a desire to connect with her late husband during Christmas. Her paintings, rich with nostalgic imagery of Santa and animals, evoke the warmth and magic of the holidays. With over 150 original pieces, Debbie now brings her art to life on a variety of products, allowing everyone to share in the joy and sentimentality of her work. Her book, The Lost Christmas Letters, further reflects the deep connection and love she pours into her creations.

The Lost Christmas Letters

Written and Illustrated by Debbie Dearen Richmond

It’s two weeks before Christmas, the day when all the forest animals mail their letters to Santa. When Merry, Charles, and Preston make their way to the mailbox, they notice it is not there! The cubs are joined by others who came to place their lists in the box as well. What will they do? Whatever it is, they must move quickly; a snowstorm is on the way and threatens their plans.

This book’s beautiful illustrations catch the reader’s attention from the cover to the last page of this endearing book. The story portrays the values of kindness, acceptance, giving, problem solving and love. The Lost Christmas Letters brings the true spirit of Christmas to life….as Santa says in the story,” This is the true Christmas spirit, indeed, going out of your way to bring joy to others”.
